Poetry, because it arises from the deepest source of life, and is absorbed by the deep levels of the unconscious, must be used to talk about social change, to stand on the side of ordinary people, to question what makes us human, to link up with this state of being human in others, and then to awaken to our identities as a human first before national, ethnic or other identities.

With the rise of social media and super-fast technology where world events can be broadcasted to different corners of the earth, we believe that it is just the right time to fill the world with positive voices for social change that nurture human dignity and human rights. Technology can be used in the direction of violence, bullying and war. But technology can also be used in the direction of making the cries for peace heard.

In the next 10 years, technology will play a crucial role in social movements. It already is doing so. We have therefore created this section for you to write your poetry here, and have your voice heard by the rest of the world.
