To find a man of perfection
Some folks will never even try
But I have found the perfect man
Here are some of my reasons why
Because He loved this world so much
He left Heaven for human birth
He gave His life for all our sins
His blood covers each soul on earth
For He was as much man as God
And also as much God as man
It's impossible to explain
Though many people think they can
On Skull Hill's dismal cross He hung
Abandoned there-dying alone
Such unselfish love shown by Him
This world had never before known
He knew how to lay down and die
But afterward-He then got up
Rising from His dark tomb of death
He had finished His bitter cup
Upon His bloody painful cross
He took my guilt and sinful place
Now I'll live with Him forever
Beholding His glorious face
